After the class, every students should be able to;
describe three modes of transportation that are used in Bhutan without referring the textbook
write at least three differences between modern and past transportation with help from the teacher
Analyze why land and air transportation is preferred over water transportation in Bhutan with at least three reasons without help from friends.
Lesson introduction:(5 minutes)
Flash out the ppt slide with the “How did you come to school?” question. Then let them think for 30 seconds and let 4 to 5 students share. Untitled presentation
After listening to their response, let them guess today’s topic.
Lesson development:20 minutes
Information input
Through ppt we will explore what is meant by transportation and we will give some examples too. After that we will look at modes of transportation in Bhutan namely land, air and water transportation with appropriate examples.
Activity 1
Instruction: teacher will ask students to login into google docs and answer the questions that will be flashed out on the ppt.
What is transportation?
Which mode of transportation would you prefer to travel to Australia and Canada.
If you were given to choose one mode of transportation to travel, which mode of transportation would you choose?
Activity 2
For the second activity, students will be asked to login into menti metre for this activity.
Question; what differences do you notice between modern and past transportation?
