Middle Level of ICT integration

PhET simulation: It is a virtual space, where one can conduct experiment without visiting the science laboratory.  Using phat simulation one can overcome the challenges related to  limited number of equipment and it can grantees the safety of the  of the students. Using this simulation, students can be engaged in active learning, exploring and hands-on experience, enhancing their comprehension and understanding of the particular subjects.

My Experience while using PhET simulation 

While using this simulation, firstly, it was interesting  as one can conduct various experiments without having to visit laboratory.  Secondly, i was thrilled to know that it was free to use and i can help us to understand and comprehend the lesson better. I also believe that this can help ones to remember  the information for longer duration. finally, its really easy and fun to use.




Middle Level of ICT integration 
In middle level of ICT integration, it is basically learning with technology but with lesson plan. while integrating it will have instruction, follow-up activities  and assessment. in this level teacher use video, ppt and simulation to aid in teaching and learning. 

Instruction 
i am going to teach mathematics on comparing fraction using the PhET simulation. By using simulation, students will he able to see and compare the fraction thus developing further comprehension on fraction. They can also able to understand equivalent fraction. 
Topic: Fraction
Class: 3
lesson Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, every students will be able to ;
1. understand the concept if equivalent fraction
2. find the equivalent fraction for given fraction
3. compare the fraction with appropriate reasoning  

Lesson Introduction; 
  • introduce what is fraction using visual representation, such as dividing shapes or objects.
  • give some real-world context and visualization.
Lesson Development
Explain the concept of equivalent fraction. then students will given some equation to solve . 


Activity one: students will be instructed to go to phet simulation and asked to play game about equivalent fraction. 


Activity Two: after playing game students will solve the question provided below to check further understanding of the students on the topic. 













Lesson Closure 
Students will be asked to login into mentimeter and asked to write about their understanding on todays lesson.
