 Concepts of informative tool.

An informative tool is an application that will provide required information in various form like text, sound image, video animation, etc. it will act as information bank aiding students in construction of knowledge.

We integrate informative tool in teaching and learning to encourage learner to explore, think critically, develop investigative skills and to learn to integrate relevant information to learning.  it will also provide learners to analyze information, further expanding their knowledge and skills on learning concept. as said earlier it will enhance critical thinking nd develop their researching skills. finally it will provide raw materials for student to organize, recognize, compare and construct information. 

Various formats of informative tool

1. Text🖹

Text is a human readable sequence of character and the words that can be encoded into computer-readable format. 

2. Image🌄

It is visual representation of information such as drawing' picture, graph, logo and photograph.  we generally see image in jpeg, bmp, gif etc. 

3. Audio🔊

It is sound or noise in arrange that human ear is capable of hearing. 

4. Video 📽️

It is recording, manipulating and displaying moving image especially in a format that can be presented in TV or any channels. 

5. Animation 💥

Process of giving the illusion of movement to drawing, models or inanimate object.

Purpose of resources 

The above animation can be used in teaching the concept of transportation. 

Through this students will be able to retain the information for longer duration. They will be able to understand the concept better as it will be explained in simple.  It will also build creativity in learners hence improving skills and knowledge of the students. 

Utility of the resources materials that you have created. 

It will be used while teaching the concept of transportation in lower primary students. For creating the above content I used images, text and power point presentation. To make the animation play in chronological order, animation software is used.

Reflection on informative tools. 

Informative tool serves as a very crucial resources in modern world where one can easily access the information from various sources. Informative tool are the application that provide information in various formats such as text, graphics, sound or image to the learners. The information tools does not really do anything rather they should be consider as huge, passive bank of information. 

Computer as an informative tool can provide a vast amount of information in various forms such as text, graphics, video, image and sound. We integrate informative tool in teaching and learning to provide information for the students in the beginning or during the activity. Students can use it as information bank as they are collecting information for the activity. Before blindly gathering information from any sites one must authenticate the information and then proceed to analyze, synthesize and manipulate the information gathered. when they collect, analyze and manipulate the gathered information they will be able to construct their own knowledge and meaning thus better comprehension on the topic. 

Artificial intelligent is also one of the informative tool. Artificial intelligent is a technology that enables computers and machine to stimulate human intelligent and problem solving capabilities. We consider AI as informative tool as it can also act as information repository. Like any other informative tool it is important to critically analyze and authenticate the information provided by the AI as some information could be wrong and irrelevant to the context.   

Some benefits of using informative tool in teaching and learning are, firstly it will make any information easy to comprehend. As informative tools gives information in various form, making the concept easier and comprehendible. Secondly, retain the information for longer duration as informative tool provides  comprehendible information and concepts through image videos, audio, animation thus, students will be able to retain the information for longer duration. Thirdly, enhancing critical thinking and problem solving skills. As informative tool provide various informative from different sources, students need to be careful while picking the information and concluding, so before that students need to critically evaluate the provided information and analyze, synthesis and manipulate the information thus enhancing critical thinking skills and also researching skills.
